Sydney is a unique, complex and vibrant city. Its rich history is all around you but often hiding in plain sight. On this expert-led walking tour, you'll weave throughout time and space to uncover stories and secrets while hitting all of the city’s main attractions.

Starting from Customs House, you’ll discover how Sydney’s first convicts, military and colonists arrived in Sydney Cove after a long voyage from Britain – and how their fledgling penal camp immediately impacted the original owners of the traditional lands and waterways of Gadigal peoples. We will explore a range of perspectives while visiting some of the oldest remains of this historic period.

Heading into the City, you'll encounter an eclectic mix of old and new architecture reflecting the ever evolving style of Sydney — from convict built relics to extravagant Victorian sandstone structures and Art Deco office blocks. Along the way we'll reveal hidden sights and stories tucked away within the busy metropolis and wander through beautifully adorned arcades.

Completing our journey back towards The Rocks we'll venture down street art lined alleys before meandering through the cobbled laneways of Sydney's most historical hub: The Rocks. We'll finish at a popular brewery with harbour views of both the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

SMALL AND INTERACTIVE:  With a maximum of 12 guests, you'll be able to walk the streets in a small team of travellers to easily connect and engage with your guide and group.
